Our black mulch is composed of cedar. Not only does our mulch look beautiful with its dark black colour, there are many benefits using cedar mulch in your gardens. This includes:

  • Keeping water in the soil
  • Preventing weed growth
  • Reducing soil compaction
  • Gives off a beautiful cedar aroma

Most weeds are suppressed by a 3" layer of mulch, though some persistent perennial weeds can grow if they are left unattended for a long period of time. To avoid weeds all together, put a layer of landscape fabric under your mulch!

Black Mulch Delivery & Pick Up:

Black Mulch is available for pick up and delivery. We require a minimum of half a yard in order to deliver. We can deliver up to 10 yards in one truck load of Black Mulch. Though, when ordering online the maximum we can deliver is 8 yards in one truck. To avoid an additional delivery fee, please contact our office by phone to order 9-10 yards of Black Mulch.

If you do not see your location on our list, please call our office. Please note: all our product comes loose, and is gently placed in the discussed designated drop off location.

All product/material is available for pick up in our yard. Come with a truck or trailer, and we will do the rest. Our loader is equipped with a half yard bucket & a yard bucket to load your vehicle with what you need.
