Deluxe Overseed LS is Canada's number one overseeding mixture. It is known for its great performance on most soil types, and contains a variety of grass that allows for it to withstand various growing conditions including sunny and shaded areas, and drought-tolerant grass. This mixture includes:

• 20% Kentucky Bluegrass (sturdy species that prevents disease and is tolerant to drought and wear)
• 20% Creeping Red Fescue (tolerant to shady conditions & most soil types)
• 30% Slider LS Perenial Ryegrass (wear tolerance & self repair)
• 30% Torsion LS Perenial Ryegrass (disease tolerant & mid-dark green turf)

Overseeding Tips:

The best time to overseed is the spring or fall, to take advantage of the cooler temperatures and rain.

• Before applying seed, mow your lawn shorter than usual & remove clippings to ensure seed can be directly applied to your soil
• Rake bare or thin areas vigorously to loosen hard soil and remove debris
• To thicken, apply half the recommended ratio
• For patching, apply recommended ratio
• Apply a thin layer of topsoil on newly seeded areas
• Keep areas moist by light watering, until seeds are established
• Depending on the seed, germination can happen within 1-4 weeks.
