Our Woven Geotextile Road Fabric is composed of woven polypropylene fibres that form a stable and durable network. This allows the fabric to retain its shape, is non-biodegradable and resistant to most soil chemicals. This fabric is used when soil is soft, sandy, swampy and highly compressible. It is then placed over the soil, with a layer of compacted gravel. This ensures that the gravel cannot sink into the soil, making a strong and reinforced roadway.
