Traditional Lawn Mixture is a universal grass seed, and can be used for establishing a new lawn, and patching. It performs well on all soil types, and it is an easily germinated seed with fast growth. Different seed species need different growing conditions, and have different germination times, that's why the Traditional Lawn Mixture works well in a variety of growing conditions. The seed varieties in this mixture will germinate within one to four weeks. Our Traditional Lawn Mixture is composed of:

• Kentucky Bluegrass (prevents disease and is drought, wear and cold tolerant)
• Creeping Red Fescue (thrives in shaded areas and most soil types)
• Turf Type Perennial Ryegrass (traffic tolerant)
• Annual Ryegrass (deep rooted and fast growth)

Tips For Establishing a New Lawn Using Our Grass Seed:

• For the best results, apply seed early to mid spring, or early fall
• Grass needs a layer of 4" of good topsoil
• Apply the seed in an even layer in rows going horizontally, then vertically
• Gently rake or roll the soil after applying seed
• Keep the soil moist until the seeds are established
• To encourage root growth, water the soil well but do not overwater
• Use fertilizer at the recommended rate, and the grass will thrive
