Sod is commonly used for immediate results, and instant lawn. It can also be used to patch dead spots in already established lawns. There are 9 square feet in one roll, and measures 16" wide and 7' long. There are 85 rolls on a skid, covering 765 square feet. On average, it takes sod about two weeks to take root. As sod is seasonal, we typically carry it the first week of May. Sod is available for pick up at our yard, and is FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. To confirm sod availability, please call the store. Sod can be preordered and reserved for pick up by pre-paying. Please email or call for more information on how to preorder. It must be picked up on the date scheduled, as it comes fresh and we are not responsible for spoiled sod due to late pick up.

Tips On Sod Installation:

• Layer at least 2" of clean topsoil in the desired area.
• Rake and level the area.
• Install sod in a staggered pattern, the same day as delivered/pick up.
• Water the sod generously, so much so it makes a squishing sound under your feet.
• Keep watering the sod generously, twice daily until it takes root.
