Amour stone is a large, thick and heavy stone made of limestone. These stones typically come grey in colour, and may contain hues of brown/beige. Our armour stone is uniform in height, with random lengths and widths. They are flat, creating the ability for stability while stacking. On average, the 9" armour stone contains 9-11 stones on each skid. 

The original purpose of armour stone was to line seawalls and riverbeds, due to their resistance to cracking and erosion. Armour stone is commonly used for a variety of purposes, such as:
